are asked to raise $100 for Maine Special Olympics. Costumes

The American Cancer Society invites people interested in

American Cancer Society's York County Unit will hold the fifth
annual Relay For Life event on June 13 and 14, 2008.

American Cancer Society Relay For Life is an overnight community
celebration where individuals and teams camp out, barbecue,
dance, and take turns walking around a track relay-style to
raise funds to fight cancer. At nightfall, participants will
light hundreds of luminarias (candle lanterns) in a heartwarming
ceremony to honor cancer survivors, as well as friends and
family members lost to the disease. The American Cancer Society
Relay For Life represents hope that those lost to cancer will
never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be
supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Kora Temple sponsors the Annual Maine Shrine Lobster Classic All-Star high school football game at
4:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at Waterhouse Field in Biddeford. Every year eighty-eight student athletes and eighteen coaches volunteer their time and talents in support of helping to improve the lives of physically-challenged children. This game will be played for the benefit of Shriner's Hospitals for Children. To date, over
three hundred and sixty thousand dollars has been raised to help provide free orthopedic and burn injury care for Maine
children under the age of 18. Currently, the Shrine is treating nearly sixteen hundred Maine residents at its Springfield and Boston, Massachusetts facilities.
All proceeds benefit the Shriner's Hospitals for children.

Bring your family and friends to join in the festivities. Race day series consists of 12 closed course bicycle races for
kids, juniors, men, women, masters, and professional
cyclists.
The Saco Criterium bike races wind through one mile of Saco roads
on a technically challenging course. The races are timed plus
five laps with races for kids to skilled racers from all over New
